What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Hello Doctor is a physics-based co-op game, and the chaos only gets better with real players in the ambulance. Early Access lets us tune the driving, the patient handling and the medical tools with the community, and add new emergency calls and city areas based on what you tell us.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to stay in Early Access for roughly 6 to 12 months. The exact length depends on feedback and on how fast we can add the remaining calls and features.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We intend the full version to include more emergency calls with their own patients and scenarios, more medical procedures, more of the city to drive through, and extra customization for your station and ambulance. We also intend to keep improving performance, controller support and localization.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core loop is playable from start to finish: answer the red phone, drive through a living city with traffic and pedestrians, treat the patient in the back (vitals, defibrillator, IV drips, drugs, dislocations, stitches, bandages) and deliver them to the ER. Online co-op for up to 4 players, one story call plus randomized emergency calls, and the station with garage and dispatch desk are in. More calls are in progress.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We expect to raise the price gradually as we add new content and features during Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Through the Steam community hub and our Discord: we read reports and ideas, post regular dev updates and run polls on what to add next. Bugs with a video of the ambulance upside down are especially welcome.”

About This Game

THE WORST AMBULANCE COMPANY IN TOWN IS HIRING!

You and your friends are paramedics. Your job is to answer the phone, rush to whoever needs help and get them to the hospital. While one of you drives the ambulance and another gives directions, the two in the back keep the patient alive.

Patients expect professional, timely treatment: drive smoothly and provide the care they need to stay alive.

Before you set off, make sure the patient's belts are properly fastened, everything is secured and the stretcher brake is on. Some patients will be in critical condition; some roads will be hard to drive.

Safety is one of the three things that matter: keep the patient stable, give the right treatment and, if they resist… well, put them to sleep.

Anything can turn a normal shift into a disaster: one wrong turn can flip the whole ambulance upside down.
