About This Game

Drag a line. The water follows it. The land comes back.

RIVERBLOOM is a calm incremental strategy game about bringing a dead world back to life, one river at a time. Every watershed starts as dry, cracked ground with one spring still running. Carve a channel with your mouse or controller and the water races down it. Where it reaches, the soil darkens, then grass, shrubs and forest grow in, and the birds, deer, frogs and beavers move back. That life is what you spend.

Every river is yours

No grid, no pieces. You dig the channel by hand, as wide or as deep as you like, and the water goes exactly where the land lets it. Too flat and it pools into a lake. Too steep and it races past the dry banks. Weirs back it up so the banks turn green, levees hold it in a flood, ponds keep it through a drought.

A game that ends

Nine watersheds across three acts, from a small valley to the plains to a whole continent. Each act makes the river a thousand times bigger. Get the river to the sea, bring the land back, and the game tells you you're done. Endless, daily and Zen watersheds are there afterwards if you want more.

Every watershed changes the rules

Rock that fights your shovel. A dry season that drinks shallow water. Plains where water spreads anywhere. Salt flats that need washing clean. Floods that drown young growth. Springs locked in ice. A desert that takes everything.

The map is the score

No spreadsheets. The forest you can see is your income. Upgrades change the land: stronger springs, deeper cuts, rain, new springs on the high ground, and beavers that dam slow water into wetlands. Old ruins wake when the river reaches them.

Keep what you grew

Every finished watershed gets a River Report and up to three stars. Seeds earned at the sea plant perks that come with you, and replays at higher tiers ask for more.
