About This Game

Void Demolition Co. has a job for you: clear out entire miniature cities and feed every last block to a black hole.

Hold. Smash. Feed.

Hold the left mouse button and your weapon chews through roofs, walls and foundations. Every block you break streams up into the black hole. Fill it and it evolves — the game pauses and you pick 1 of 3 upgrades. Cut through a building's foundation and the whole thing comes crashing down.

Build a ridiculous weapon

  • 3 main weapons — the fast Lumber Axe, the slow and wide Quake Hammer, and the sweeping Reaper Scythe. Each handles wood, brick, stone, metal and glass differently.
  • 36 upgrade cards, shared and weapon-specific, including auto-skills like the boomerang axe, earthquake slam and whirlwind.
  • 9 transmutations — from Lv.3 your weapon may quietly awaken one of three transmutations and grow from tier I to V: stress waves, chain lightning, rifts, time bombs, frost, fissures, ghost blades, vines and prism lasers.
  • Satellite black holes, milestone passives and a Lv.20 capstone choice.
  • Luck tilts the odds toward rare cards and transmutations.

Void Trial: Overlimit transmutation gameplay.

Five cities, one appetite

Five contracts, each a 192×192 miniature city split into nine districts with its own buildings, trees, streetlights and landmarks:
  • Woodland Town — windmills, orchards, a clock tower and a lakeside boardwalk
  • Harbor Village — a lighthouse, a fish market, piers and a three-masted ship
  • Rustbelt Works — silos, smokestacks, gantry cranes and container yards
  • Castle Hill — city walls, towers, a keep and a cathedral
  • Neon City — skyscrapers, a TV tower and a stadium
Finish Harbor Village to unlock random contracts, which stitch districts from every map into a brand-new city.

The final devour

Reclaim 92% of the city and the black hole takes care of the rest. Every contract ends with a grade based on your time, a dark matter reward and a summary of your build. You can't fail a contract — finish faster to earn an S.

Keep the void growing

  • Void Institute — spend dark matter on 8 permanent research upgrades.
  • Void Trial — clear all five contracts to unlock a just-for-fun mode: pick a weapon, get a random map and start with an Overlimit transmutation.
  • 26 in-game achievements, detailed stats and per-weapon records for every map.

Features

  • Simple mouse controls: hold to demolish, right-drag to rotate, scroll to zoom, click the minimap to jump between districts
  • Tilt-shift miniature look and a laid-back soundtrack
  • Autosaves every 20 seconds and when you quit, so you can always pick a contract back up
  • Fully playable in English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Japanese
