Why Early Access?

“Chained Riders is a physics-based multiplayer game where teamwork, coordination, and unexpected chaos are at the heart of the experience.

We believe community feedback is especially valuable for a game built around multiplayer interactions. Early Access allows us to improve gameplay balance, refine motorcycle and chain physics, optimize online multiplayer performance, and shape the overall experience alongside our players.

We want to build Chained Riders with our community, using real player experiences to guide future improvements and development decisions.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently estimate that Chained Riders may remain in Early Access for approximately 1–3 months. However, this timeline may change depending on player feedback, development progress, and the scope of improvements we decide to pursue.

Our priority is to create a polished and enjoyable multiplayer experience rather than rush toward a specific release date.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“For the full release, we plan to expand and improve Chained Riders based on community feedback and our development progress.

Our current goals include:

- Additional obstacle courses with new challenges and environments.
- Improvements to motorcycle handling and chain physics.
- More gameplay variety and improvements to both cooperative and competitive modes.
- Better multiplayer stability, networking, and overall performance.
- Additional customization options for motorcycles and riders.
- Improvements to the user interface, visual effects, and overall gameplay experience.

These are our current development goals rather than guaranteed features. Our priorities may evolve as we learn from the Early Access community.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Chained Riders currently features playable online multiplayer for 2–8 players, with physics-based motorcycle gameplay built around chains connecting riders.

Players can cooperate to overcome challenging obstacle courses or compete in teams of two, where each pair of motorcycles is connected by a chain.

The core multiplayer experience and main gameplay mechanics are implemented and playable.

As an Early Access title, the game is still under active development. Players may encounter bugs, physics-related issues, balancing problems, or occasional multiplayer instability. We plan to continue improving the experience through updates and community feedback.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to keep the price of Chained Riders the same during Early Access and after the full release.

Our goal is to offer the game at an affordable and consistent price. We currently have no plans to increase the price as we introduce new content, improvements, and updates.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will play an important role in the development of Chained Riders.

We plan to actively engage with players through Steam Discussions, community feedback, and player reports.

We especially want to hear players' opinions about motorcycle physics, chain mechanics, obstacle difficulty, multiplayer balance, and overall gameplay enjoyment.

We also plan to share development updates and consider community suggestions when deciding which improvements and features to prioritize.

Our goal is to create a fun, chaotic, and memorable multiplayer experience together with our players.”
