Protest for whatever you want: a real cause or the right to a nap. With your friends, you write the banner and slogans, then put your own photos on the placards. Day one: 4 protesters according to the organisers, 2 according to the police. By the end, thousands are chanting your words across Paris.

About This Game

You call the shots

Before you head out, you name the protest and fill the placards with your slogans and your own pictures. A joke between mates or a real cause: the crowd marches for it all the same, and that night your day makes the evening news.

Thousands of people, and you in the middle

You're wedged between two backpacks with someone's placard in your face and the police line edging closer. If someone loots a shop, that's all anyone will talk about.

Start a chant

Shout your slogan and the rows behind you pick it up, then the ones further back, all the way down the street. On day one you hand out flyers and whoever takes one joins the march.

With friends

Solo or up to four in online co-op. The banner takes two to carry, and if your mate lets go it drags along the ground in front of everyone.

It starts with four of you

Every week you pick up more recruits, and the money you make carries over from one game to the next.

In the game

  • Proximity voice chat: you hear whoever is right next to you

  • A sea of people around you, in first person

  • Characters to unlock as you play

  • It's a caricature: nobody gets injured and none of the characters are real

What's coming next

  • Smoke flares in your movement's colours

  • Gear to find during the march

  • A third-person view, to see your character in the crowd

  • A TV report of your protest, as an image to share

  • …

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

The game takes place during a fictional street protest. The violence is cartoonish and there's no blood: people shove each other, a punch leaves you dizzy, tear gas is played for laughs, shop windows break and things get thrown. If a shop window gives way, players can loot the shop. The evening news then turns against the protest, and that changes the next march. Nobody dies, and the game's own art doesn't feature any real brands or real people. Players write their protest's title and slogans and choose its pictures, including their own photos, which the crowd then carries. They can also record a short answer at a microphone, which plays on the evening news. The game only sends these pictures and recordings to the friends in the same session.
