Choose a nation, build its economy, develop cities and infrastructure, and turn terrestrial industry into a space program capable of reaching the Moon, Mars, and beyond. Every faction approaches the Solar System differently, with its own leadership, strategic strengths, doctrines, ambitions, and political relationships.

Build power, food production, industry, launch infrastructure, military facilities, cities, orbital stations, and the logistical network needed to support an expanding civilization. Resources must be produced, stored, transported, traded, and protected. A growing population can become the foundation of a great power, or a liability if its economy cannot keep pace.

The Solar System is not an empty board. Competing nations establish colonies, develop orbital infrastructure, contest strategic territory, form alliances, impose embargoes, negotiate trade, conduct espionage, and pursue their own ambitions.

When diplomacy fails, conflict can extend from the surface of Earth to deep space. Organize armies, air forces, navies, and spacecraft into forces built for the mission. Defend orbital infrastructure, intercept enemy fleets, support planetary campaigns, and decide how far escalation should go in a world where strategic weapons remain very real.

Nations Beyond Earth can be played against AI-controlled powers or in multiplayer, with configurable scenarios and game settings allowing each campaign to develop differently. Data-driven mod support lets players expand and reshape parts of the game beyond the built-in factions and scenarios.

The future is no longer about reaching space first.

It is about deciding who controls what comes after.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Generative AI tools were used during development to assist in creating a limited number of pre-generated visual assets, including some character/leader portrait artwork. These assets were reviewed and integrated by the developer. The game does not use generative AI to create content during gameplay.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

Nations Beyond Earth contains strategic military conflict, including conventional warfare, missile attacks, nuclear weapons, orbital combat, and the destruction of military units, cities, infrastructure, and spacecraft.

Violence is presented from a grand-strategy and tactical-map perspective rather than through graphic or close-up depictions. The game does not contain gore, dismemberment, graphic injury detail, or realistic depictions of human suffering.

The game may reference war, political conflict, espionage, nuclear escalation, casualties, and the consequences of large-scale military action as part of its alternate-history setting and simulation systems.

There is no sexual content, nudity, drug use, or explicit language intended as a core part of the game.
