About This Game

Every object has a story. Not every story is true.

Welcome to The Last Appraisal, a small pawnshop dealing in antiques with uncertain histories and unusually persistent problems. In Occult Pawnshop Simulator, your work is deliberate: examine each lot, judge what you can trust and decide whether the margin is worth the risk.

Read the evidence

Use a lamp, salt and resonance to investigate authenticity and supernatural traces. Compare paired observations with your curse reference. Familiar names are not answers: individual lots can differ in condition, materials, origin, value and what follows them into the shop.

Do more than buy and sell

Negotiate with sellers, find stock for buyers, give paid appraisals and choose treatments for clients. Accept search commissions and deliver before the deadline. A confident promise can earn a fee today and a complaint later.

Keep the backroom under control

Inspect owned items again, select a cleansing method, isolate a dangerous lot or sell it on. Containment expires. Untreated stock can strain the entire shop. Invest in upgrades and maintain the ward while balancing cash, reputation and danger.

The ledger carries on

Weekly reviews mark your progress without resetting the shop. Stock, evidence, upgrades, relationships and outstanding orders remain. Market demand changes, customers remember and earlier transactions can bring referrals, compensation claims or stranger incidents.

  • Turn-based, single-player shop management with no decision timer.
  • Three inspection tools, six curse types and five kinds of client visit.
  • A searchable catalogue of 240 antiques, with procedural individual traits and 40 shared illustration families.
  • A hand-inked 2D shop, paper records and original music and sound cues.
  • Russian and English interface and text; large-text and reduced-motion settings.
  • Offline play and an autosaved ledger with backup recovery.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

AI assistance was used during development to author item descriptions and fictional histories, dialogue, interface and event text, Russian/English localization and procedural evidence templates. Original illustrations and visual layouts were authored as SVG/vector and drawing code. Music and sound cues were created offline from AI-assisted composition and synthesis code, without third-party samples. Individual lots and encounters are assembled by deterministic local game rules. The game does not run an AI model or connect to a generative AI service during play. Store artwork derives from the same original assets; gameplay screenshots and footage are captured from the game. Licensed third-party fonts are separately documented.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

Atmospheric supernatural themes and fictional occult rituals, with textual references to death, mourning and cursed antiques. Some decisions cause non-graphic incidents or financial losses. No sexual content or graphic gore.
