About This Game

A pixel-art story adventure about light, shadow, and the words we never said.

Emi is an archivist. In three days the apartment block where she grew up will be torn down, and her job is to photograph every room before it is gone.

Seventeen years ago a boy lived in the window across the courtyard. They never needed a phone: a lamp turned toward the ceiling meant a question, a paper bird meant "come outside", a paper star meant "goodnight". Then one stormy night the lights went out, and the conversation stopped in the middle of a sentence.

Now, in the dead building opposite, a light is blinking again.

Speak with shadows

Move your lamp, tilt a paper cutout, change the distance. The shadow on the curtain is a real projection, so every small change alters the message. Learn the language of the windows and answer.

Explore places that feel alive

Courtyards in the rain, stairwells, a kitchen with a kettle still warm. Every object in every room is its own thing with its own light and shadow. Look at it, pick it up, or leave it behind.

Remember

Play as nine-year-old Emi in warm, fading memories, and rebuild the evening everything went wrong from both sides of the courtyard.

Decide what to keep

Archive an object or leave it to the house. Choose the final message you send across the courtyard, and live with what it means.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Location backgrounds, cutscene close-ups and album photos were generated locally with an image model (Stable Diffusion XL / Animagine XL 4.0, ControlNet) from the project's own layouts, then converted to pixel art and reworked by hand. In-game characters, props, item close-ups, the menu, logo, icons and capsules are hand-placed pixel art. The music is original; the script is original, written with help from an AI assistant. No AI content is generated while you play.
