A dark workplace parable in visual-novel form. As Lin Zhi works at Sabo Group, he uncovers buried secrets—AI, human experimentation, thought control—while clues keep surfacing. What will you choose? The game features 13 distinct characters and 15 endings to unlock.

Story Overview:

Lin Zhi is a recent graduate who answers a strange job listing: Hiring The Compliant. The poster is the famous tech giant Sabo Group. At the interview he finds everything off—people who forget their own names, eerie ID codes, locked rooms, and a work ritual that makes no sense. Something is being kept from him.

Days later the work shifts into team mode. Lin Zhi meets his colleagues—and each of them seems to have a hidden agenda. Who he confronts and who he allies with may decide how the story ends.

At the climax, Sabo Group’s CEO takes the stage for a global AI product launch. The world’s eyes are on the event. Is Lin Zhi on stage or in the audience? Does he become an outstanding obedient employee—or tell the whole truth? That choice is yours.

Characters:

Lin Zhi/NE287: A recent graduate and the player’s point of view. He joins Sabo’s “The Compliant” test for money and a way forward, and is tagged NE287. In the button room, the maze, and the team contests, every choice is forced on him.

Vivian: His college girlfriend—now closer to an “ex.” He still longs for her, but she feels out of reach.

XJ036: Reception, proctor, process announcer. Acts like a robot—though he won’t admit it.

Dr. Chen: Sabo Group’s chief scientist; driving force behind the cortical mesh and human-brain compute projects.

Cole Sabo: CEO of the group; center of personality cult and success-story myth. At the launch he defines what “compliant” and “the future” mean.

Marcus: A Cantonese man—strong, Black, eager to be captain. Controlling.

Misa: Long hair, delicate features, a slightly hoarse voice.

Erin: A blonde girl from Eastern Europe, glasses, rusty Chinese; she looks obedient.

Aye: Short hair, nose ring, a neck tattoo; sharp and rebellious.

Wang Junlin: A talkative, chubby guy—a “believer” in Cole Sabo.

Amir: An Indian engineer; the quiet, sharp mind in the corner of the team.
