1997. A roadside pizzeria on a dead stretch of Route 66. You work the night shift alone: roll the dough, spread the sauce, bake, slice and box every order by hand. And when the red lamp over the window lights up, you have five seconds to drop the shutter.

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We want to develop PIZZA 66 together with players. Early Access will help us understand what works best in the pizza-making mechanics, order system and nighttime horror encounters. We plan to keep expanding the gameplay, adding new situations and improving the balance between running the kitchen and surviving each shift. Player feedback will help us decide which ideas to develop further before the full release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We're aiming for a full release in 2027. The exact timing may change depending on development progress and player feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand the six night shifts with more varied pizza orders, additional kitchen tasks, new customer interactions and unexpected events. We also want to develop the horror encounters, add more story moments and improve how the tension builds throughout the game. The full version is intended to offer a more complete story and a greater variety of gameplay situations, with player feedback helping shape these additions.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The main gameplay loop is playable. Players can prepare pizzas by hand, use the kitchen equipment, manage customer orders and experience unsettling encounters during night shifts. The game already combines pizza-making with horror elements, but the variety of orders, nighttime events and story content is still being developed. More situations, interactions and gameplay improvements are planned for future updates.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to keep the price the same during Early Access and increase it slightly when the full version launches. We'll announce any price changes in advance.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We'll actively follow Steam reviews and discussions, collect suggestions and respond to bug reports. Player feedback will help us improve the pizza-making mechanics, adjust the difficulty and decide what kinds of orders, encounters and nighttime events to add in future updates. We also plan to share development updates through Steam.”

About This Game

You took the night job nobody wanted at PIZZA 66, a tiny kitchen in the middle of the desert. Six shifts, one service window and orders that keep coming. The work is ordinary and oddly satisfying, until something starts showing up outside the glass. It is patient. It waits for the moment your hands are full.

Key Features:

  • Every pizza by hand: Take dough from the fridge and roll it out, spread the sauce with a ladle and lay the cheese and toppings exactly where you want them. Bake it, cut it into eight slices and box it.

  • A real kitchen rush: Juggle up to three orders at once and two oven decks with their own timers. A pizza has ten seconds between done and burnt, and every customer has a limited amount of patience.

  • The only window: The service window is where you earn your money and the only way in. When the red lamp flashes, run to the switch and bring the shutter down before it is too late.

  • Six nights: Every shift is longer and stranger than the last: flickering lights, blackouts, a face at the glass, tickets nobody ordered. Night six ends with the last order.

  • Your shift, your rating: Accuracy, baking, cutting and speed decide your pay and tips. Every shift ends with a report and a rating of up to five stars.

  • A late-90s look: A low-poly first-person kitchen with wobbly retro textures, VHS haze and a radio playing in the corner while the desert stays dark outside.
