Falterlight is a 2D horror roguelite platformer built around a choice: stay in the light, or push into the dark for a richer haul. Fight through procedurally generated caverns, find new weapons, and search for your next chance to relight.

KEEP THE FLAME ALIVE

Your torch burns down as you descend. Read the terrain, manage your fuel, and reach a source of light before the flame gives out. Every detour costs time.

THE DARK PAYS MORE

As your sanity falls, the rewards grow. Risk bonus coins in the dark, then return to the light to bank them. Stay too long and the cave becomes harder to trust.

BUILD YOUR NEXT RUN

Experiment with weapons and upgrades, face bosses across five strata, and bring Emberdust back to the hub for permanent progression. Death ends a run, but what you learn and unlock shapes the next descent.
