I set off for home at dusk. An hour's walk, a road I'd taken for more than twenty years.
I've been walking for three hours, and I'm still inside the village.

Gaekgwi is a first-person horror game about escaping an old village haunted by ghosts from Korean folklore.

Ghosts roam the village, each hunting in its own way.
Learning what sees you, and what hears you, is how you survive.

■ You cannot fight

Stay low, save your lantern oil, and shut the doors behind you.
The old things left in the village may give you one more chance.

Those who wandered this road before you left their records behind.
The more fragments you gather, the closer you come to the truth of this village.

■ A village woven anew

The alleys and houses connect differently every time you enter.
There is no set path. Listen closely, or you will lose your way.
