About This Game

Welcome to Totally Legal Logging.

You and up to 5 friends are a crew of dwarves running a perfectly legitimate timber business. In someone else's forest. Without a permit. Before the forester gets there.

Cut it. Process it. Ship it.

• Real felling physics – notch, cut and wedge trees so they land where you want. Or on your friend.

• Machines that don't ask questions – a debarker that strips bark (and clothes), a gang saw that turns logs into planks, and a campfire for... reasons.

• Load the truck – stack logs on the bed, hit the horn and send it off before anyone notices.

• A new forest every time – every job gets a freshly generated forest, terrain and road.

Your friends are a resource

Knock them out with an axe. Carry them like a log. Put them through the debarker. Roast them over the fire until they come out extra crispy. Nobody gets hurt. Probably.

Watch out for the forester

Every job is on the clock. When time runs out, the forester shows up – and he brought a double-barrelled shotgun. Grab what you can and get out.

Totally Legal Logging features cartoonish, slapstick violence played for comedy. Players can be crushed by falling trees, hit by logs, launched by machinery, injured by chainsaws and axes, and - as a running joke - tied to a spit and roasted over a campfire by their friends. Injuries are shown with stylized cartoon blood and gore, which can be reduced or turned off completely in the settings (Full / Cartoon / Off). The game also contains dark humor about illegal logging. There is no sexual content and no drug use.
