What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Rip It Together is a co-op party game, and the funniest moments come from groups of friends unwrapping together. Early Access lets us test the auctions, the wrapping layers, the tools and online play with real crews, and add new packages, prizes and silly surprises around what players enjoy most.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to stay in Early Access for roughly 6 months. This is our best estimate and may shift a little based on player feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add:
- More package types, wrapping layers and stress-toy layers
- More prizes for the album, more shop customers and shop decorations
- More character hats and outfits, plus Steam Achievements
- More interface languages”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is fully playable: 1-4 player online co-op (or solo with a bot helper), auctions against rivals, 14 kinds of packages including giant eggs, ships and space capsules, dozens of different wrapping layers and ten tools, haggling with buyers, your own shop with customers, perks, shop upgrades and an album of everything you find.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we add new content and features during Early Access. The full release price will be higher than the Early Access price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We read every review, discussion and suggestion. Players can share ideas and bug reports in the Steam Community hub, and we will regularly post update notes and polls about which packages and features to build next.”

About This Game

Rip It Together is a silly co-op unwrapping party for 1–4 players. Win mystery packages at the auction, then tear through layer after layer of absurd wrapping with your friends to find out what's inside.

Outbid the weirdos

Every round starts at the auction. Size up three mystery lots, then wave your paddle against a crowd of very determined rivals. Paid too much? That's a problem for after the unwrapping.

Layers on layers on layers

Gift paper, stretch film, rubber bands, pop-its, balloons, slime, squishies, fidget spinners, knots, chains, padlocks, combo locks, ice… No two packages are wrapped the same way. Grab the right tool from the wall — scissors, hammer, blowtorch, needle, vacuum and more — and get stuck in.

Go big

Some packages are huge: a giant egg to crack from the top down, a treasure ship, a space capsule, a mysterious mound. Ride the work platform up and smash your way in.

Better with friends (mostly)

Split the jobs, hold the chain while your friend torches it, punch flying toys out of the air together… or sneak up behind them with a hammer. Playing alone? Bot Bora is happy to help.

Jackpot… or poo

The big reveal: a supercar, a pile of gold bars, a giant dragon — or a poo. Keep it, haggle with buyers, or put it on a pedestal in your own little shop and wait for customers.
