About This Game

Defend the tree. One squirrel. One crossbow. Endless waves.

You live in the tallest tree in the forest. Every night, they come — wolves on balloons, angry bees, dirt-chewing groundhogs — and they all want what's yours.

Squirrel Defender VR is a fixed-position VR archery defense game. You don't run. You don't teleport. You stand on your treetop platform, aim, and shoot. No artificial locomotion means zero motion sickness — play for an hour, still steady.

🎯 Your Weapon: The Storm Repeater

A fast-firing fantasy crossbow built for one job: keeping the ground clear.

· Trigger-fire, no string pulling — aim and squeeze, the bolt flies where you point

· Real physical arrows you can nock, aim and release with both hands

· Land consecutive hits to build a combo multiplier up to x3 damage

🐺 Enemies That Escalate

· Wolves — the main threat. Swift, Armored, and from wave 5, glowing Elite wolves with double health and double coin drops

· Bees — fast, swarming, they sting you and blur your aim

· Groundhogs — tough and slow, they burrow toward your tree's roots

Every 5 waves the pressure goes up. Miss too many and your tree starts losing health.

🗼 Shoot to Build: Mini Tower Defense

Your bow can't cover everything. Shoot a tower slot and drop an auto-turret on it:

· Fire turrets (red-orange) — steady damage

· Frost turrets (ice-blue) — slow enemies to a crawl

· 10 upgrade levels each, bought with coins. Your aim is the active line of defense; the turrets are the passive one.

⚡ Power-Ups: 20 Seconds of Chaos

· Rapid Load — halves your shot cooldown

· Triple Shot / Rapid Shot / Five Shot — turn one bolt into many

· Nut Shield — makes your baby un-grabbable, wolves waste their grab

· Double Coins — double every coin you collect

💰 Between Waves

Spend coins in the treetop shop on new turrets, power-up stock and upgrades. Clear a wave with zero escapes and the tree showers you with bonus coins.

Why VR players like it

· No locomotion, no sickness — a true seated-or-standing comfort game

· Physical aiming — your real hands are the weapon, muscle memory actually matters

· Short sessions — a run is 10 to 15 minutes, perfect for "one more try"

· Leaderboard — compare your wave record with players worldwide

Supported VR headsets

SteamVR compatible: Valve Index, HTC Vive / Vive Pro, Oculus Rift / Rift S, and all OpenXR PCVR headsets. Seated or standing play both supported.
