About This Game

Someone left a glass jar on your desk. Inside is a tiny island: a hill of grass, a sandy beach, a lake full of fish and a little village with its torches burning. It’s yours now. Dig into it. Flood it. Pour lava down the hill and watch the lake boil. Or leave it be and watch the world go on without you. There are no goals, no score and no wrong way to play. Just a small living world that sits on your desktop while you work.

Features

• Shape the land with your hands. Pour sand, soil and stone wherever you like. Carve valleys, raise mountains, dig caves. Every grain falls, piles up and slides like the real thing.

• Water that finds its own way. Pour it from the watering can and it pools, spills and runs downhill. A running stream slowly cuts its own path through the hills, and rivers change course over time.

• Play with fire and lava. Lava glows, flows and crusts over as it cools into new rock. When it reaches the water, it hisses and steams. Grass catches fire, and rain puts it out.

• A world that’s alive. Fish scatter when your hand comes near. Trees sway in the breeze. Butterflies drift by in the day and fireflies come out at night. Torches flicker in the dark and go out when they get wet.

• Become a villager or any other critter. You can take over any living creatures and play from first or third person as any critter!

• Build your own village. Place houses, torches, trees and rocks. Build with blocks. Make a quiet fishing village or a castle on a cliff.

• It lives on your desktop. The jar sits on top of your other windows, and clicks outside it pass right through to whatever you’re doing. Drag it anywhere, make it bigger or smaller, and check in on it whenever you like.

• Never lose a thing. Everything saves by itself. Close the game and come back tomorrow. Your world will be right where you left it.
