What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Coral Outpost is already playable from the first dive to the last boss, and we want players down there with us while we tune it. Early Access lets us balance the waves, the upgrades and the difficulty around how people really play, and grow the game with more content based on that feedback.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Coral Outpost to stay in Early Access for roughly 6 to 12 months, depending on the feedback we get and how much new content we add along the way.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add more content: new maps, new creatures and bosses, more station weapons and gadgets, and more places to discover beneath the seabed. Alongside that, we plan to keep refining the balance, the difficulty curve and the overall feel of the game based on what players tell us.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version is fully playable from the first dive to the final boss. Every map has its own mix of creatures and its own boss, every station weapon and gadget has its own upgrade tree, and each diving suit comes with its own active skill. You can play Expeditions, the Endless Dive and Challenges on several difficulties, and your keeper levels up across runs. The game is in English. Expect balance changes, new content between updates and the occasional bug.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. We plan to raise the price gradually as new content arrives, so players who join during Early Access get the game at a lower price than at full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We read the Steam discussions and reviews closely and use them to decide what to fix, rebalance and add next. We will share what changes in each update through Steam announcements and patch notes.”

About This Game

Mine. Haul. Survive.

You keep a lonely research station anchored above the ocean floor. Swim down, vacuum your way through sand and rock with your suction hose and fill your cargo with ore. When the clock runs out, the creatures of the deep come for your station, and you had better be back at the cannon.

Dig your own way down

The seabed is destructible pixel by pixel. Deeper layers hold rarer ore, sunken wrecks, crystal geodes, ancient shrines and sealed tech chambers, and every unit of cargo slows you down. One more vein, or home before the wave?

Hold the line

Choose your station weapon, grow it through its own upgrade tree and add gadgets like shields, auto harpoons or a teleporter. Every creature fights its own way: some come in schools, some hide in the sand, some carry a shield for a head. Learn their tricks.

Every sea has its giant

From the bright open sea down to the volcanic vents, every map has its own creatures and its own boss waiting at the end. Spend your ore in branching upgrade trees, level up your keeper in every run, win or lose, and go deeper.

  • Unique creatures and bosses you have to adapt to

  • New map, new strategy
