About This Demo

Your first flights over Paris

Planet Pilot shrinks Earth to one fifth of its size, while every plane, runway and building stays full size. This free demo opens the 60 km around Paris, rebuilt from real map data: Charles de Gaulle airport, the Seine, the Eiffel Tower, La Defense, Notre-Dame, the Louvre and the Arc de Triomphe, plus the real airfields nearby.

A short flying career

Start at Charles de Gaulle in the Dragonfly ultralight with a guided first flight lesson. After it, your flying club gives you a Kestrel Tourer with flaps and room for passengers, and the Sparrow is for sale in the hangar. Take your first jobs: passengers, cargo, VIP charters and photo flights over the landmarks of Paris. Fly through five golden Sky Hunt rings over the city, borrow an aerobatic plane for a guest airshow, then fly a final VIP charter. Every plane has its own autoland, and every touchdown gets a score.

Dogfights over the Moab canyons

Swap passengers for guns at a squadron base in the Moab canyons. Learn the basics in flight school, clear the skies of Corsair air pirates, beat their ace Captain Crankshaft in a boss duel, then fly the Flying Circus Legend battle over Flanders in 1917.

Real flying, friendly controls

Flaps, crosswinds and a proper stall, all tuned to feel right on a keyboard, a mouse or a gamepad. Interactive lessons teach you step by step.

Your progress carries over

Your demo career, its planes and your passport stamps carry over to the full game.

The full game releases on 1 December with the whole planet, 71 cities, 17 civil aircraft, 15 fighters, 14 Legends and online play.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Some of the art in Planet Pilot was made with generative AI tools during development, then selected, edited and fitted into the game by the developer. This covers the store and key art, many 2D illustrations (mission briefing, Legends, ace, medal and loading pictures, hangar plane pictures, emblems and some painted ground textures), the picture thumbnails in the landmarks list, and the high-detail 3D models of more than 40 landmarks. The game's translations were made with AI tools and reviewed by the developer. In the trailers, the opening 30 seconds of the cinematic trailer and the trailer music and sound effects were made with AI tools. The world, aircraft, flight model and gameplay were built by the developer. Nothing in the game is generated by AI while you play.
