About This Game

Honor, Power & SHLANKs is a turn-based party roguelike. You lead five orphans with big dreams and terrible equipment into dungeons where fire spreads, water carries lightning and some swords talk back. The rules work both ways: the oil you light under a goblin burns your Thug just as well.

Your party

Every hero starts as a nobody with a dream: a Thug, a Doorman, a Poacher, a Cutpurse, a Charlatan, a Shepherd, a Beggar - or a Starving Musician. Train them, equip them, and let the ancient guilds give them a real name. They talk on the way. They complain, they mourn each other, and the Unbeliever insults the gods until the gods answer with lightning.

  • One action per round, and every swing costs stamina - heavy weapons hit hard and tire you fast

  • Dozens of spells across fire, water, air, earth, faith and darkness - and weapon arts for every weapon

  • Formation matters: who stands in front decides who gets hit

A world that reacts

Spill oil and set it alight. Freeze a pond and walk across it. Cast lightning into water, but check first that your party isn’t standing in it.

  • Fire spreads, burns gear and lights up the dark

  • Water floods rooms, carries the lightning and floats your loot

  • Blood stains, metal rusts, crates fly when something heavy hits them

Parables

Every adventure hides short, strange stories with a twist. A goblin with a very specific request. A princess who really, really needs rescuing. A soul trapped in a diamond who has a few things to say to the man holding it. Most of them can end more than one way.

Some weapons have souls of their own. They will comment on your fighting, your choices and your friends.

Your bag

Potions slosh in their bottles, flails swing when you drag them, and two potions poured together make a third. Lift a rock to find what crawls beneath it. Fish your sword out of a flooded room. Find a firefly glowing under a stone.

Traps, secrets and things that are not chests

Hidden doors, cracked walls, buried treasure, pressure plates - and rooms that fill with water the moment you step inside. Monsters see, hear and smell you, so sneaking is a real choice. And if a chest looks a little too hungry, it probably is.

The band

The Starving Musician brings a guitar, a drum or a cello - and when the musicians in your party play together, the whole town listens.

Honor, Power and SHLANKs

Bring legendary artifacts home to the museum for Honor. Hunt down the monsters that rule each adventure for Power. And dig up every PLank, CLAnk, BLANk and SHLANK you can carry - because heroes have to eat.

When a party dies, its names go up in The Fallen, a hall that remembers every party, and you start again with five new orphans.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

All of the game’s ideas, characters, stories and design are mine. English is not my first language, so I used AI tools to turn my writing into correct English, for both the game and this store page. The character voices and creature sounds were generated with ElevenLabs from my own scripts. I composed the music together with AI tools under my close direction: I set the style for every area and reviewed each track until it fit the game. Nothing in the game is generated by AI while you play.
