About This Game

Every egg in its place.

Welcome to Eggsort, a cozy first-person sorting game set in a grand, cathedral-like egg shop. 4,800 eggs lie scattered across its floors, from the nave to the upstairs gallery: rolled into corners, tucked under plants, hidden on top of bookcases. Your job is simple and deeply satisfying. Pick them up, find where each one belongs, and watch the shelves fill, one perfect row at a time.

40 collections · 10 patterns · 4,800 eggs

Every bookcase is a color collection: Crimson, Ocean, Cinnamon, Lilac and 36 more. Every shelf on it holds a single pattern, such as stripes, polka dots, marble, checkers, or zigzags. Twelve eggs fill a shelf. Put an egg in the wrong spot, and it glows red. Get it right, and it pays.

  • Fill your basket and carry up to 16 eggs at once

  • Learn to tell Sky from Baby Blue and Moss from Olive, or switch egg names on to help

  • Handle with care: eggs that fall hard or get thrown will crack. Patch them up at the Repair Desk

Hunt for golden eggs

Twelve golden eggs are hidden around the shop, in plant pots and planters and on top of bookcases. Bring them to the Golden Showcase at the foot of the giant Fabergé egg. Each one is worth 25 regular eggs.

Shake the plants

Potted trees, planters, and flower boxes grow over time and hide eggs in their soil. Shake them when they're ripe. A golden-ripe plant may even drop a rare Flowered Egg worth five times the money.

Hatch a crew of chicks

Complete a whole collection and a chick hatches. Chicks gather loose eggs and carry them to their shelves while you keep sorting. Feed them, train them to run faster and search farther, teach them to file eggs straight into the right shelf, and assign each one its own color. One whistle and they all come running.

Upgrades from the Bunny Shop

Two marble bunnies beside the Fabergé egg sell everything you need to sort faster:

  • Knock: Tap your egg against another one to hear if they match

  • Echo: Every nearby egg of the same kind lights up

  • Basket Magnet: Matching eggs fly straight into your basket

  • Tracking: A trail of light leads you to the nearest matching egg

  • Shelf Lantern: The right shelf glows from across the shop

  • Bloom Egg & Focus Egg: Wake two giant eggs upstairs to make plants grow faster or your skills recharge sooner

Your pace, your shop

  • No timers, no game over: just you, the eggs and a gentle music-box tune

  • Fragile eggs and bumping into eggs can both be switched off for an even calmer sort
