"The Staring Man | 凝視男" is a short first-person horror game set in a Japanese convenience store late at night.

Story

A convenience store, late at night.

While working the night shift alone, you notice a man standing across the street.

He does nothing but stare at you.

Both the store manager and the regular customers tell you the same thing.

"Don't take your eyes off that man."

As long as you're watching him, he never moves.

But sometimes he comes closer when you look away, while on other nights, nothing happens at all.

As the nights pass, you discover a notebook left by the previous employee and mysterious security camera footage.

These clues gradually reveal the store's hidden past.

Why does the man stand there every night?

And what is he really staring at...?

Gameplay

You play as a convenience store clerk on the night shift, carrying out duties such as working the register, restocking shelves, and cleaning while progressing through the story.

With each passing night, your duties change, and inexplicable events unfold inside and outside the store. Through conversations with customers, clues left behind in the store, and security camera footage, you gradually uncover the truth behind the incident.

Gameplay focuses on exploration and light puzzles, with moments when you must hide and escape danger.
