One slice of Toast, a little butter and a friendly face. Surely that is enough for a good morning.

Then you buy a second toaster.

The 08:17 Problem is a humorous idle clicker about a breakfast slowly getting out of hand. A cozy kitchen becomes an industry, then a bureaucracy, and eventually a problem for reality itself. Your Toast takes on new roles as your operation grows. Whether this was a good idea remains to be seen.

Click by hand, build production facilities and combine upgrades with production milestones. Catch a golden Toast, spot a rare visitor or make the most of a butterstorm to send your numbers climbing. Breakfast missions give you extra goals while your facilities keep working.

A kitchen with a life of its own

Steaming machinery, animated pixel artwork and a Toast with changing roles and reactions accompany your progress. Little visitors, absurd messages and unexpected events appear between purchases. At first, your breakfast is adorable. Later, you may want insurance.

Start a new breakfast and bring Breakfast Wisdom with you. It automatically strengthens production as you build a fresh operation. Your achievements and all-time progress stay with you.
