Seeds drift in across the water. Click one, and it takes root and grows into something beautiful.

My Secret Lake is a cozy idle gardening game that brings a living lake to your desktop. Spend a few quiet minutes tending your plants, then let them grow while you get on with your day.

  • Catch drifting seeds and watch them grow into flowering plants.
  • Collect new species and the Spirit they produce.
  • Arrange your lake and unlock new scenery.
  • Share letters in bottles with players around the world.
  • Unwind through rain, thunder, daylight and starry nights.

Let your desktop bloom

Keep your lake beside your work, reading, or downtime. Move and resize the window, pin it on top, collapse the menus, and enjoy floating plants against your own wallpaper. Turn the in-game background on whenever you want to step into the scenery.

Grow something worth coming back to

Raise plants, discover new species, and collect the Spirit they produce. The more fully grown plants you gather, the more your Secret Island grows and the more often rarer, higher-tier seeds drift to your lake. Research upgrades to make more room, improve growth, and make everyday care easier.

Make the lake your own

Arrange your plants and unlock new scenery as your collection grows. Settle into daylight, watch the stars come out, or find a favorite view to linger in. Keep a few treasured plants on display or fill the water with life; stored plants still produce Spirit.

Letters on the water

Every so often, a bottle may wash up with a letter from another player. Send a few kind words of your own, and leave a heart on the letters you enjoy. Letters need an internet connection; the rest of the game plays offline.

A little care goes a long way

Call on wind, rain, and lightning to clear dust, algae, and hay. Unlock automatic weather through research so your lake needs fewer interruptions. Growth and research continue while the game is closed, and your plants can store up to 12 hours of Spirit, expandable to 24 through research.
