About This Game

A cozy farming life sim with a secret buried in the woods.

Inherit a neglected farm on the edge of Wetherell, a quiet New England village where everyone knows everyone. Clear the land, grow crops through the seasons, fish the waters, delve into the mine and earn a place among your new neighbors. It is a warm, unhurried life.

But on the darkest night of every new moon, some of those neighbors slip away into Harrow Wood. What they do there, and why, is up to you to discover. Help them, stop them, join them, or simply keep farming.

A cozy farming game first

Every day brings a handful of small, satisfying choices. Till, plant, water and harvest crops across four 28-day seasons, then sell your goods, upgrade your tools and turn a weed-choked plot into a thriving homestead. Nothing punishes you harshly. Save whenever you like from the pause menu; the game also saves every night. The whole farming and friendship experience is complete on its own.

A village that lives without you

Twelve villagers keep their own schedules by day and by night. Learn what each of them loves, share gifts and conversation, unlock heart events and celebrate a festival every season. The clock in the middle of the village stopped years ago, and with it the village's habit of meeting. Bring the villagers what it needs, one part at a time, and mend the clock tower together. The repair ledger is kept in the Old Meetinghouse, where the village still gathers. Relationships are optional, and all of them are all-ages.

Something sleeps in Harrow Wood

Beneath the warmth, small things start to feel wrong. Villagers keep odd hours. Strange crops sprout that no shop will sell. The weather turns, and the fog does not always lift. Overhear conversations, follow the clues, and track the villagers into the woods to see what really happens at the altar. Your choices shape the fate of Wetherell, and lead to very different endings.

You choose how dark it gets

Horror intensity is a setting you can change at any time:

  • Full: the whole story, slow-burn dread and all.

  • Mild: the unease remains, with the most disturbing imagery and text removed.

  • Off: a complete, cozy farming game with no horror content at all.
