In Hitch Happens, you travel the open road by hitchhiking, catching rides with people you'd probably never get into a car with under normal circumstances. But beggars can't be choosers. The next town is miles away, and your feet are killing you.

You stick out your thumb. A car pulls over. Some guy's behind the wheel. Seems normal enough. But why is there a shovel in the back seat?

Welcome to Hitch Happens, a story-driven hitchhiking simulator where every car that stops brings a new story. And it's not always one you meant to get involved in.

Hitch rides, meet drivers, and decide how to handle each new stranger. Some just want to chat. Others need a favor. And some are suspiciously quiet about why they just turned off the highway.

Talk, ask questions, make choices, and decide for yourself how deep you're willing to get into someone else's problems.

Just wanted to get to the next town? Too bad your driver had other plans, the conversation took a weird turn, and that familiar highway disappeared from view a while ago.

One ride might land you at a party on a bus. Another could lead to a shady job offer. And somewhere along the road, you might stumble upon something you can't even begin to explain.

Every ride is its own story. And there's almost no telling how it'll end.

Just because you're in the passenger seat doesn't mean you have to sit still. Look around the car, open the glove compartment, poke at anything within reach, and interact with the objects around you.

New roads, new cars, new drivers, and new stops. Day turns into night, some encounters become distant memories, and others are waiting just around the bend.

Hit the road again, choose different responses, meet new people, and discover situations you missed the first time around.
