About This Game

Lostwell is a 2D pixel-art action extraction game. Below ground, you search and fight, and get out before the Stalker arrives. Back on the surface, you sell what you brought back or put it on display in the museum you run.
Everything the world loses ends up in this well. Your grandmother opened a museum beside it, and three years ago she went down the well with a miner's lamp. All she left was a letter: "The museum is yours. I've hidden a huge treasure at the bottom of the well. If you want it, come down and get it."

Combat

Every floor has monsters. Roll out of the way of attacks, knock bullets back with your shovel, or switch to a sledgehammer, SMG or shotgun.

Looting

Chests and defeated monsters drop items. Your backpack has limited space, so you have to decide what to take and what to leave behind.

Extraction

The longer you stay on a floor, the closer the Stalker gets. You are only safe once you reach an exit with your loot; if you fall, everything you carry stays in the well.

Museum

Sell what you bring back, or put it in a display case. More exhibits bring more visitors, and completing a set raises your prestige. Galleries can be torn down or joined, and walls, cases and lighting can be arranged freely.

Pets

Eggs found in the well can be hatched in the incubator, and the pets that hatch can come down the well with you.
