Your next shift is probably fine. A slapstick co-op pharmacy game for 1–4 players. Decode dreadful prescriptions, operate absurd machines, and get the right medicine to the right patient. When the equipment jams and the paperwork floods in, teamwork is your best treatment.

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We want to build Friendly Pharmacy with the people who play it. The best moments come from how players approach a shift: the shortcuts they discover, the jobs they share, and the unexpected things that happen when a plan falls apart.

Early Access lets us learn from those experiences while there is still room to shape the game. Your feedback can help us understand what feels fun, what feels confusing, and where the pharmacy needs more variety. We want early players to feel involved in development and see how their experiences help inform the game’s direction.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We are currently aiming for around 6–12 months in Early Access. This is a working estimate, and the timing may change as development progresses and we learn from players.

We want to give meaningful feedback time to inform improvements, especially around campaign pacing, clarity, and the quality of each shift. We plan to keep the community informed through Steam updates and explain any changes to our estimated timeline.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to develop a more varied and polished pharmacy experience, with additional prescription challenges, shift situations, and opportunities for players to coordinate their work.

We also want to refine campaign progression, make new mechanics easier to learn, and improve how the game plays for different crew sizes. Community feedback will help us decide which ideas add the most enjoyment and which existing systems deserve more attention. Improvements to performance, multiplayer reliability, accessibility, and visual and audio feedback are also part of our intended development focus.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current build includes the pharmacy’s core systems: deciphering prescriptions, finding ingredients, preparing medicine, treating patients, and keeping supplies stocked. Campaign content, progression, cosmetic unlocks, and lobby upgrades are also implemented.

Campaign flow and some interactions still need refinement, while multiplayer reliability, controller compatibility, and performance remain areas of ongoing testing. Players should expect bugs and balance changes. Feedback on these existing systems will help us focus improvements on the parts of the game that matter most during a shift.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We have not yet decided whether the price will change during Early Access or at full release. It may increase as the game gains content and becomes more polished.

We want to be fair and transparent with the people who join us early, and we intend to announce any planned increase in advance so players can make an informed decision.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to make the Steam Community discussions our main place for feedback, suggestions, and bug reports. Tell us where a prescription confused you, which task your crew enjoyed most, or when a shift felt too easy or too demanding. Those details help us understand the experience beyond our own testing.

Through Steam announcements and patch notes, we intend to share what we are working on, explain our priorities, and highlight changes informed by player feedback. We cannot include every idea, but we want an ongoing conversation where the community has a meaningful voice in how Friendly Pharmacy develops.”

About This Game

From first shift to qualified disaster

Start with the basics, then work your way through fourteen short campaign shifts. New prescriptions, equipment, tighter routes, and increasingly awkward repairs give the crew more to juggle as you learn the job.

Earn stars, open the next contract, and return to earlier shifts to improve your score. Friendly Pharmacy is a career in making questionable decisions together, one very busy workday at a time.

Teamwork is the best medicine

Welcome to Friendly Pharmacy, where the prescriptions are questionable and the equipment has far too many moving parts. Play solo or assemble a crew of up to four players in online co-op. You're the robot pharmacists. The patients are waiting. Someone should probably read the prescription.

Split the jobs, pass supplies between workrooms, and turn a frantic shift into a coordinated operation. Or discover that everyone went to answer the same phone.

Read the prescription. Try not to guess.

Collect prescriptions, decipher terrible handwriting, and work out what each patient actually needs. Find the right medicine, track down ingredients, and carry everything to its next stop.

The cabinet won't refill itself. Keep an eye on stock, call the warehouse, and collect deliveries before your carefully planned shift becomes a very elaborate search for one missing packet.

Some assembly required

Medicine doesn't appear because you clicked a menu. Feed ingredients into the mixer, work its enormous floor plates, and send the result through a bottling bench. Unlock regulated supplies and help patients through their treatments.

These are physical jobs with physical things to carry, drop, and throw. Divide the production line between friends, use transfer windows to cut the journey short, and try to remember which bottle you were holding.

That is probably a maintenance issue

Paperwork spills across the floor. Delivery tubes back up. Machines seize. Pink goo makes a convincing argument for calling maintenance.

Maintenance is also you. Grab the right wrist tool, repair the problem, and keep the orders moving while your teammates cover the counter. A good crew can handle a breakdown. A great crew can handle a breakdown while arguing about whose fault it was.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Generative AI was used extensively during the creation process of this game. From code to modeling, AI has been used to create this product.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

The game depicts a fictional world, where the players operate a fictional pharmacy. They do that by dispensing and creating made-up medicine for made-up illnesses to NPCs. We consider the theme of medicine by itself can be considered 'mature' content.
