Erebus Expedition is a single-player auto battler built around choosing your units and positioning your troops. Study the enemy army, make the most of a limited budget, and set your formation before watching the two sides clash automatically.

Invest in a sturdy front line or a hard-hitting back line? Field another squad or add support for the troops you already have?

Mix melee, ranged, magic, and support units to meet the enemy's strengths. Find combinations that help your troops bring out the best in one another.

Inspect enemy units and their positions before battle, then place your own troops freely within the deployment area.

Who makes first contact? Who needs protection? How much space should you leave between units? Watch these decisions play out in battle. The same troops in a different formation may be worth another try.

Once the battle begins, troops move, select targets, and use their abilities automatically.

Pause, adjust the battle speed, or move the camera to follow the action. See how a well-timed ability changes an encounter. Discover why a formation works and where its defenses give way.

Retry with your current formation or return to deployment to change your lineup. Put what you learned from the last clash to work in your next attempt.

As you progress through the campaign, new enemy combinations, battlefield conditions, and boss abilities pose fresh tactical challenges. Learn what each unit can do, refine your plans, and lead your little army against stronger foes.
