Why Early Access?

“The Silent Wild already has its core survival mechanics in place, but there is still plenty of room for improvement and expansion.

I’m releasing the game in Early Access so players can experience what’s already available and share their feedback. I’m especially interested in hearing what players think about survival balance, enemy behavior, building, and open-world exploration.

This feedback will help me prioritize future updates, improve existing systems, and develop new content based on what players actually want to see in the game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect The Silent Wild to remain in Early Access for approximately 12–18 months. However, this timeline may change depending on player feedback, development progress, and the scope of planned updates.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“For the full version of The Silent Wild, we plan to significantly expand the game world with new locations, a greater variety of animals and enemies, more items, resources, and additional building and crafting options.

We also aim to improve enemy and animal AI, expand survival mechanics, introduce new weather events, and make exploration more engaging and unpredictable.

Another major focus will be optimization, visual improvements, animations, sound design, and overall gameplay balance.

Our plans may evolve based on community feedback and development progress.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Silent Wild already features its core gameplay systems and offers a playable open-world survival experience.

Players can explore a procedurally generated world, gather resources, craft tools and items, build shelters, hunt wildlife, and fight dangerous creatures.

The game includes a day-night cycle, dynamic weather with rain, blizzards, and tornadoes, as well as survival mechanics such as hunger, thirst, body temperature, stamina, diseases, and injuries.

The world is populated by various animals and enemy types. Players can explore abandoned locations, discover valuable resources, interact with the environment, and face extreme weather conditions.

Local split-screen co-op on a single PC is also available.

As the game is still in active development, some mechanics require further improvements. Players may encounter bugs, balancing issues, performance limitations, and areas where content is still being expanded.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually increase the price of The Silent Wild as we add new content, expand gameplay features, and improve existing mechanics. The price may also increase when the game leaves Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to stay actively involved with our players through Steam Discussions, reviews, and community suggestions.

Player feedback will help us identify bugs, improve game balance, refine gameplay mechanics, and prioritize future updates.

We also plan to regularly share development news, communicate changes, and consider community ideas as we continue developing The Silent Wild.”
