What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“ApexIQ Replay Studio is being built around real motorcycle recordings and the riders who use them. Early Access gives riders, track-day enthusiasts and creators a way to help shape the replay experience, ARIS analysis and video tools.

Feedback from different recording devices, riding environments and PC configurations will help us improve compatibility, usability and performance. We want the community involved in deciding which improvements make the biggest difference to reviewing and sharing a ride.”

Approximately how long will this software be in Early Access?

“We currently estimate that ApexIQ Replay Studio will remain in Early Access for approximately 6–12 months after its Early Access launch.

During that time, we plan to improve recording-format compatibility, test performance across different hardware, refine our comparison and video export tools, and address issues identified by users.

This estimate may change based on testing results and community feedback. We will share progress through development updates and update this timeline if our plans change.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand Replay Studio into a complete motorcycle replay, analysis and creation toolkit. Our priorities include:

- Multi-rider comparisons, with a target of up to 15 recorded riders in one replay grid.
- Imports from supported Dragy, RaceBox and other telemetry exports.
- Deeper ARIS coaching, repeated-session comparisons and progress tracking.
- MP4 replay exports with selectable camera perspectives and telemetry displays.
- Further improvements to environments, motorcycle and rider animation, interface design and performance.

The scope and order of these additions may change as we learn from testing and community feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current development build supports importing compatible ApexIQ replay packages and reviewing a single recorded ride in a generated 3D environment.

It includes multiple camera perspectives, adjustable playback, timeline navigation, synchronized telemetry, route maps, heatmaps and corner exploration. ARIS provides local corner observations, supporting measurements and suggested points to review when sufficient recording data is available.

We are preparing the standalone release and continuing performance and usability testing. Multi-rider grids, broader third-party imports, MP4 export and expanded long-term ARIS coaching remain development goals rather than current features.”

Will this software be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually increase the price during Early Access as substantial features and improvements are added. We also expect the full-release price to be higher than the initial Early Access price. We will announce planned price increases in advance through Steam announcements.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to use Steam Discussions for feedback, bug reports and feature requests, alongside development announcements and update notes.

We are especially interested in recording compatibility, replay clarity, ARIS explanations, camera controls, video creation and performance across different PCs. Users who choose to share example recordings can help us investigate issues and improve support for real-world data.

Community feedback will help guide priorities and refine how features work throughout Early Access.”

About This Software

BUILD IT. RIDE IT. REPLAY IT.

ApexIQ Replay Studio is a motorcycle sandbox built around riding, tuning and experimentation. Create your bike in the garage, take it out yourself, watch AI riders put it to work and replay the moments worth seeing again.

Bring a recording of your own ride, and a familiar road becomes the setting for something new.

TURN YOUR REAL RIDE INTO A RACE COURSE

Import a compatible motorcycle recording and use its GPS route as the foundation for a generated virtual course. Configure a grid of up to 15 total riders, choose available bike builds and rider profiles, and watch simulated opponents tackle the road you recorded.

Your recorded run keeps its original timing while AI riders race around it. Follow the field, study a pass, compare corner performance or switch to a trackside camera to watch a familiar section become a race scene.

Available map context, elevation inputs and procedural scenery build the setting around the route. The result interprets your recording and geographic data; it does not reproduce every real building, surface or exact tire line.

FIND YOUR NEXT RIDE

Take control with keyboard and mouse across the available sandbox worlds:

  • Proving Circuit: technical corners, straights and setup testing.

  • Forest Circuit: forest riding, AI sessions and a benchmark environment.

  • Mann Highlands: fast roads, crests and elevation changes.

  • Apex Valley: connected roads and course districts for exploring and experimenting.

Adjust traction control, ABS, wheelie control and automatic gears to suit your session. Switch between chase and onboard views, look around and find your rhythm through the corners.

A GARAGE BUILT FOR EXPERIMENTS

Save multiple bike builds and rider profiles. Swap engines, fit performance parts and compare the result with your starting setup. Explore 26 part families, including intake, exhaust, cams, ECU, engine internals, clutch, gearbox, suspension, brakes, wheels, tires and rider controls.

Upgraded hardware unlocks deeper adjustments. Change gear ratios, fueling, ignition, cam timing and other supported settings, then run a loaded dyno pull to inspect the torque and horsepower curves. Hear the engine respond as you test it.

The engine simulation connects output with load, temperature and component condition. Excessive torque can overwhelm a clutch; excessive heat, revs and component loads can damage an engine. Build something usable or enable Unrealistic Engine Mods to explore more radical combinations.

GIVE EVERY RIDER A DIFFERENT APPROACH

Customize rider skills and profiles, then watch different approaches to braking, cornering and overtaking play out on the same course.

In Apex Valley, enable NPC riders for exploring, practice laps and group rides of up to ten. Encounter straight-line pulls and riding challenges, or turn NPC traffic off and keep the roads to yourself.

REPLAY THE MOMENT

Follow the action from chase, onboard and trackside cameras. Slow down a pass, scrub through the timeline or compose a screenshot of your build in motion.

Crashes connect the motorcycle and rider with impacts, ragdoll motion, modeled damage and supported breakaway parts. Open the crash report to inspect motorcycle damage and rider injuries, and review the events in slow motion.

UNDERSTAND YOUR RECORDED RIDING WITH ARIS

Return to the recording behind the replay. Explore available telemetry and heatmaps, review detected corners, compare compatible runs and add supported camera-footage overlays.

ARIS explains corner entry, speed changes and exit recovery in language written for riders. GPS / Phone coaching works without an ECU reader when you supply a compatible timed recording. ECU Assisted coaching adds recorded brake and throttle channels when available.

Missing measurements stay identified. Simulated body movement, estimated lines and generated scenery remain separate from the evidence your recording supplies.

DEVELOPMENT DETAILS

The current motorcycle model supports multiple saved builds and available appearance variants. Physics, AI, damage, experimental engines and optimization continue to be refined. Recorded-road AI sessions currently cover up to the first ten minutes of a recording.

Sandbox riding does not require ApexIQ hardware. Recorded-ride features depend on compatible data and available channels; supported account and device services require their corresponding accounts, services or hardware.
