About This Content

Forty Years of Unspent Wrath. One Chance to Spend It.

Friar Aldwin the Unshod walked the war-roads for forty years, healing soldiers of every banner and asking nothing but bread. The armies called him a saint. What no one knew is that every wound he closed and every death he could not stop, he kept — folded into the iron-shod scepter he was never seen without.

When he died, the Order of the Reed buried the scepter in secret. The Ashen Abbot has spent a decade reading the country for where.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Some artwork in The Friar's Scepter DLC was produced with generative AI image tools and then cropped, composited, retouched and finished by the developer. This includes campaign key art and some unit, character, environment and prop art. Parts of the in-game lore and flavour text were drafted with AI assistance and edited by the developer. Nothing is generated by AI during gameplay; all content ships as fixed, pre-made assets.
