Ride somewhere else.

Échappée is a solo indoor cycling game about travelling and enjoying the ride. A road unfolds ahead of you as you pedal through forests, valleys, lakes and mountains. No circuit, no laps and no finish line.

An endless road

Explore a world generated as you go, from a first-person perspective. Each journey has a seed: return to a familiar road or head somewhere new. Choose the time of day, weather and light to set the mood of your ride.

Three ways to travel

• Free Ride: pedal with a compatible smart trainer. In SIM mode, resistance follows the terrain; in ERG mode, choose a constant power target.
  
• Workout: follow structured ERG sessions, browse the local workout library, import ZWO files or build your own intervals.
  
• Contemplation: explore the landscape using your keyboard, without a smart trainer or a recorded cycling activity.

Your pace, your data

Workouts, ride history and settings stay on your device. Échappée works offline after installation, with no additional account or subscription.

Required equipment

Free Ride and Workout modes require a compatible Bluetooth FTMS smart trainer that measures power and supports the selected mode. Your PC needs Bluetooth connectivity. Contemplation mode is available without cycling equipment.

Some pre-generated branding artwork, icons, menu illustrations and Steam marketing assets were created with assistance from generative AI. The 3D world is generated procedurally by the game code. No generative AI runs during gameplay and the game does not connect to external AI services.
