Ornamento is an invitation to slow down and experience great paintings in a different way, from Antiquity to the early 20th century. Each painting is carefully selected, then turned into its own hand-cut puzzle. Instead of a regular grid, every piece is designed around the painting's figures, objects, forms, and lines of composition. Rebuilding a painting becomes another way of looking at it. Notice that gesture in the background. That color echoing another elsewhere in the image. The relationship between those two figures. The way the foreground draws your eye into the distance.

Every painting has its own custom, hand-cut puzzle. Move and rotate the pieces, spot shapes and visual connections, and gradually reconstruct the original artwork. It's a calm, accessible experience: complete each painting at your own pace.

As you rebuild an artwork, area by area and fragment by fragment, you naturally linger on its colors, forms, and rhythms. The puzzle becomes a way to step inside the painting.
