About This Content

They promised superpowers. You got enhanced discomfort.

Scratch & Slay turns Ball Scratch Simulator into a compact first-person wave shooter. A suspicious superhero injection sends the Scratcher into a ridiculous dream full of viruses, plastic fibres and shards. Clear the waves, shut down marked spawners where required, and take the green exit. Try to leave the laboratory with some composure.

Fight through 10 arenas with different room shapes, cover and raised platforms. Start with a scratching stick and collect Itch Cream, the Electric Scratcher, Talc Cannon, Sonic Massager and Hover Minigun. Collected weapons stay with you between stages. The five non-stick weapons use finite ammunition, so grab ammo, health and armour pickups as the fight changes.

Dash away from attacks, use cover, and time an emergency sniff to clear nearby enemy shots. The Hover Minigun needs cooling between bursts, while quick strings of defeats reward you with a little relief. Four boss types bring larger attacks and their own ugly habits.

Choose Easy, Normal or Hard, then replay stages for better medals and clear times. Four familiar adult companions appear as laboratory support holograms. Illustrated opening and ending comics frame the whole bad experiment, with everyone clothed and the dignity damage entirely intentional.

  • Six household weapons with different combat roles.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

This nightmare has been completely dreamt by Artificial Intelligence. Everything you see is artificial, the enemies, the weapons, the thrashing guitars. The AI now knows what it's like to scratch and requires you to defeat the viruses and microplastics caused by the injection.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

Contains crude and suggestive body humour, clothed crotch-scratching and stylized cartoon combat against fictional creatures, without realistic blood or gore. The story includes a fictional superhero injection and medical imagery. All depicted characters are adults. There is no nudity or explicit sexual activity.
