About This Game

Go on a space adventure, build relationships, and play mini-games along the way.

Shivaliva is a sky-pirate puzzle adventure in the spirit of Puzzle Pirates. Islands float over the Stardust, and everything you do on them is a minigame: the jobs that pay you, the card tables, the stations on your ship, and the fights.

Work the islands. Arrive with nothing. Mine ore, split logs, wash dishes at the inn, try your luck at Poker and Coin Drop, and climb the gym's Skirmish ladder. Spend what you earn on clothes, a hot meal, a room at the inn, and one day a ship of your own.

Crew a ship. Sign on with the ferry's crew, or hire your own, and cross the Stardust. Sailing, Navigation, Gunnery, Carpentry and Venting keep her flying, and raiders keep it interesting: sky battles, grapples, boardings.

Get to know the islanders. They keep their own days, remember what you tell them, pass word about you around, and talk back in their own voices. Make friends, sign them onto your crew, court them, and maybe find a sweetheart. Bring them gifts, take them out, and mind who sees you.

Face the Ordeals. Out across the Stardust, islands hide Ordeals: beast guardians, and a master waiting at the end. Clear them and you hold the bearings to an island nobody has charted.

Make it yours. A character creator, outfits and dyes, and a trophy case for everything you've done.

Talking with the islanders needs an internet connection. Everything else plays offline.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

When you talk to the islanders, their replies are written live by a generative AI language model (DeepSeek, through our own server), and their voices are made on your PC by a text-to-speech model. The islanders are told to stay in character and never to write anything sexual, and a player who says they are under 18 gets no romance. Some of the game's written text (dialogue and this store page) was drafted with AI help and edited by hand. The art, music and sound effects are not AI-generated.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

Shivaliva is a cozy sky-pirate adventure with some grown-up themes. You can court the islanders, flirt, kiss, and spend the night with a sweetheart in a room you rent at the inn: the covers come up and the scene fades to black, and nothing is shown. A new character starts out in their underwear until you buy your first clothes. The tavern serves ale, and you can play Poker and Coin Drop for in-game gold (no real money, nothing to buy). Fights are cartoonish with no blood: a defeat is a faint. The islanders' conversations are written as you talk to them and may include mild swearing, but they are never sexually explicit, and a player who says they are under 18 gets no romance at all.
