About This Game

Welcome to the Grog & Grudges, the rowdiest tavern in Skull Cove. Thanks to one lucky game of liar's dice, it's yours, along with its leaky roof, its monkey problem and a debt to Lord Blackbile, due in two weeks.

Every order is a minigame

• Pour the perfect grog. Tap the recipe, hold to pour, let go in the gold band, then slide the mug down the bar.
  
• Run the floor. Seat rowdy crews, wipe the tables and hand out room keys.
  
• Keep the peace. Throw your boot at dine-and-dashers, chase the monkey off the till and win bar brawls punch by punch.
  
• Play the room. Liar's dice, dance-offs, arm-wrestling, drinking contests and sea shanties with the band.
  
• Survive the trouble. Boarders, a kraken, possessed mugs, and Navy inspectors sniffing for rum. Hide the rum!

A tale in five chapters and a finale

Pay off the debt, and the trouble's only starting: a shiny rival across the street, a curse that fills the tavern with ghosts, the Royal Navy at the door... and a feast no pirate can refuse. Your choices along the way lead to one of four endings.

• Spend your tips on new rooms, a roaring hearth, a stage for the band, decor and fresh paint.
  
• Dig a cellar brewery and invent your own house grog.
  
• Hire a crew: a waitress, a bouncer, a cook, a lookout parrot, and a hungry cat for the rats.
  
• Learn the regulars' usual orders: Old Pete, Pegleg Polly and Barnacle Bob.
  
• Create your own barkeep: face, hair, beard, eyepatch and outfit.
