What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Padel Manager 27 is built by a single developer, and a management game like this lives or dies by its balance: the economy, player development, the transfer market and the match simulation all feed into each other over many seasons. I can test a lot on my own, but not the hundreds of different careers that real players will run. Early Access lets me put a complete, playable game in your hands now and tune it with your feedback instead of guessing.
”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I expect Early Access to last around a year. That may change depending on how much feedback there is and how long the planned additions take.
”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is a complete single-player career. For the full version I plan to grow it in three directions.

A deeper match engine
  • More player animations and better ones, so matches look closer to real padel.
  • More shot variety and smarter tactical decisions from every player on court.
  • Match replays and highlights, more venues, and a richer broadcast presentation.
  • More variety in how players look: body types, faces and kits.

More tools for the manager
  • Deeper tactical options and more ways to prepare a specific rival.
  • Better scouting, comparison and analysis tools to make decisions with data.
  • Customisation of your academy: name, colours, kits and facilities.
  • An editor to create your own players, academies and competitions, with the aim of sharing them through the Steam Workshop.
  • Better explanations and guidance for players new to management games.

Playing with others
  • Export the pairs you have built in your career and enter them in an online pairs ranking.
  • Challenge pairs created by other players and see whose academy produces the best padel.
  • Further ahead, cooperative seasons where several managers share the same world.

Throughout development
  • More languages, starting with English.
  • Ongoing balancing of the economy, player progression and the simulation across long careers.
  • Steam features such as achievements, cloud saves and leaderboards.
  • Performance, accessibility options and controller and Steam Deck support.

These are plans, not promises. Online play in particular is a later goal and depends on how the single-player game settles first. Priorities may shift based on what the community finds most important.
”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The full career loop is playable from start to finish. You can found an academy, sign and train players, form pairs, hire staff, manage facilities and finances, and compete through leagues, opens and cups across multiple seasons. Every match is simulated point by point and can be watched in 3D or resolved quickly, and you can set tactics and give orders from the bench.

What to expect at this stage: the game is currently available in Spanish only, some animations are still rough or missing, balance is still being adjusted, and you may run into bugs. Saved games may not always carry over between major updates.
”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I plan to raise the price moderately when the game leaves Early Access, to reflect the content added during development. Players who buy during Early Access will keep the game at no extra cost.
”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Through the Steam Community hub: the discussion forums for feedback and bug reports, and regular update notes explaining what changed and why. I read everything and will be open about what I am working on next and what I have decided not to do.

About This Game

Build a padel academy from nothing

You start with a handful of courts, a few students and not much money. Padel Manager 27 puts you in charge of everything that happens next: who you sign, who plays with whom, how they train, and what they do when the match gets tight.

Every point is really played

Matches are not a dice roll behind a result screen. Each rally is simulated shot by shot, with ball physics, glass walls, lobs, bandejas, víboras and smashes. Players move, defend and attack according to their own attributes and tendencies. Watch it live with a broadcast camera, or simulate quickly and read the report.

Manage from the bench

  • Prepare a tactical board for each situation: serve, return, net and defence.
  • Give orders during the match and see them change how your pair plays.
  • Read match analytics to find out where the points were won and lost.

People, not numbers

  • Every player has a personality, preferences and ambitions.
  • Pairs need chemistry: the right partner matters as much as raw skill.
  • Talk to your players, make promises, and deal with the consequences of breaking them.
  • Hire coaches, analysts and medical staff, and scout young talent.

A living padel world

  • Climb an amateur league from the tenth division to the first.
  • Enter opens, cups and international circuits as your players improve.
  • Compete against rival academies that sign, train and grow on their own.
  • Follow a persistent world ranking across many countries and seasons.

Run the business

  • Build courts and facilities, and decide what your academy offers.
  • Balance student income, sponsors, salaries and loans.
  • Negotiate contracts and transfers, clauses included.
  • Plan the training week and manage fatigue and injuries.

All competitions, academies and people in the game are fictional.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Some sound effects in the game (court ambience, crowd reactions and some impact sounds) were generated with an AI audio tool and then selected and edited by the developer. Some background images used in the store page and marketing materials were generated with an AI image tool. AI coding assistants were used as a development aid, including help drafting some in-game explanatory text, which the developer reviewed and edited. All game design, simulation, data and player content were created by the developer. The game does not generate any content with AI while it runs.
