About This Game

HEAR TOMORROW

August 1994. In Greyford, an old field radio tunes into a band no station uses. Somewhere between 0 and 100 on its dial, it picks up voices, alarms and accidents that haven't happened yet. Follow the pulses, record them and work out where the next one will strike.

CHANGE TONIGHT

Every warning is a countdown. When the radio plays Owen saying "Don't open that panel", you have sixty seconds to reach the substation and stop the arc. Prepare a route, protect someone, or dig deeper and accept the risk. What you change stays changed.

FEAR WITH RULES

When the Resonance Storm turns the sky red, something comes through the interference. The Listener hunts transmissions: silence the radio, distract it with the recorder, break its line of sight. Every threat follows rules you can learn.

A TOWN THAT REMEMBERS

Greyford keeps living around you. Neighbours go back to work, shops change their hours, and every case you close, or fail, leaves its mark on people and places.

ALONE OR WITH FRIENDS

Play solo or in online co-op with up to four players. Every case can be solved alone; with friends you split up, cover each other and coordinate in real time.

WHAT'S INSIDE

  • 8 episodes and 12 side cases

  • 6 districts and 16 interiors to investigate

  • 3 endings

  • Interface and subtitles in English and Spanish

  • One-time purchase, no microtransactions

Photosensitivity warning: the game contains flashing lights. A reduced-flashes option is available in the settings.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Some content in PRE-ECHO was created with the help of generative AI tools during development and was then integrated, adjusted and art-directed by the developer:
- 3D models: the character and creature models, and many prop and vehicle models, were generated with Tripo from original reference images made for this project, then rigged, adjusted and textured in Blender and Unreal Engine.
- 2D art: some textures and interface images (such as the main-menu background, the workshop investigation board, journal and map paper, and inventory icons) were generated with image-generation tools from original prompts.
- Voices: all spoken lines are synthesized with the open-source Kokoro text-to-speech model using generic voices. No real person's voice was recorded or cloned.
- Text: the script, in-game text and English/Spanish localization were written with an AI assistant under the developer's direction.
- Store art: the store and library artwork was generated with AI image tools from the project's own character and creature references, then retouched by the developer. The logo was made without AI. The screenshots are unedited captures of the game.

No content is generated by AI while the game is running.
