Why Early Access?

“Find Wife in a Dungeon has been growing in public since July 2026, with a new version about once a month. Early Access lets us keep that rhythm on Steam: every update adds content, and what players tell us decides what gets balanced, fixed and built next, from item numbers to which queen gets her story first.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“About 12 to 18 months. We ship about one update a month, and the current plan to the full release is roughly 12 to 18 more updates, which may change with player feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to have every dungeon version,complete story, plus more dungeons, items, enemies, events and battlefield spells, more Grail Tree branches, and more polish and balance across the whole run. Plans can change with player feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core game is complete and playable from start to finish:
- eight dungeons on a branching map, each ending in a queen boss with her own mechanics; six of the queens can be courted after you beat them
- 144+ items to pack, link and fuse in the backpack
- twelve battlefield spells, merchants, the fortune shrine and campfires between fights
- the Grail Tree passive tree, legacy gear that carries into future runs, endless mode, and run saves
Expect regular balance changes while it grows.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No. The game is free to play during and after Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We read the Steam discussions and reviews after every update. Bug reports and balance feedback from them decide what gets fixed first, and players' suggestions shape the items, events and which queen comes next. Each update gets patch notes on the Steam news page so everyone can see what changed and why.”

About This Game

Every dungeon has a mistress at the bottom. Fight your way down, and she's yours to court.

pixel-art roguelike that mashes a Slay-the-Spire branching map with Backpack-Battles inventory building. Find loot fill your backpack, arrange, and fuse into a war machine. Every run a new bag, every dungeon a new queen.

🎒 Pack it. Link it. Fuse it.

  • Every item is a shape on a grid. Rotate it, place it, make room for one more.

  • Line up 3+ cells of one colour for bonuses: red attack, blue defence, green healing, yellow speed, purple max HP.

  • Fill a row and FUSE it: the items keep fighting as phantoms and the slots open up again, so a build can Go Crazy.

  • 144+ items to discover, potions relics to find

⚔️ Battles that play themselves, if you built them right

Combat runs on its own from your bag: attack speed, crits, multi-hits, lifesteal, burns, freezes, shocks and poison, all at once. 

👑 Eight dungeons. Eight queens.

Each dungeon ends with a queen who fights dirty: Seraphine blocks your next hit, Sister Morvaine poisons your healing, Azrielle's Judgement ignores your armour, and the Void Empress steals your best weapon. Beat her and she joins your keep (six of the eight so far): bring her potions, learn her favourites and raise her affection.

Pixel-art fantasy roguelike with adult themes: queens in revealing fantasy outfits, flirtatious and romantic dialogue, and stylized fantasy combat with blood effects. Dark-fantasy settings with undead, vampire and demon characters, and some drinking. All characters are adults.
