Taskbar Cat is a cozy desktop pet game for Windows. Adopt a cat family and share your taskbar with little companions who wander, nap, groom, stretch, and occasionally get the zoomies while you work, study, or browse.

Every adoption brings a cat with its own coat, eye color, personality, and habits. Get to know an affectionate attention-seeker, a playful bundle of energy, or a devoted nap enthusiast. Give your cats names, explore their profiles, and choose which companions join you on the desktop.

Make time for the little things

Pet your cats with a few gentle movements of your pointer, pick them up and move them, or invite them to chase. Bring out the toy ball and roll or toss it for a play break. Sometimes a cat will simply look at you, meow, and decide it has other plans.

Taskbar Cat uses pre-generated AI-assisted artwork, cat and prop animation sprites, some cat sound effects, and promotional artwork. These assets were edited and assembled during development. The game does not generate AI content or connect to an AI service during gameplay.
