Sift & Shine is a cozy prospecting and life simulation game about building a new life one pan at a time. Leave the mountain behind, settle beside the river, and sift through dirt and gravel in search of gold, gemstones, precious metals, and valuable ores.

Shake and work your pan to uncover hidden treasures, discover new materials, collect cards, improve your equipment, and turn a rough riverbank into a prosperous home. Spend your earnings wisely, keep up with your bills, specialize in the valuables you want to find, and slowly build a family and life of your own.

Setting

You were raised like any respectable dwarf should be: stone overhead, a pickaxe in hand, and valuable ore buried somewhere beneath your feet.

Unfortunately for your father, you’ve decided there has to be another way.

Leaving the mountain behind, you strike out on your own and settle beside a river, convinced that enough wealth is hiding beneath the water to build a life without ever digging a proper mine. Your father expects the experiment to end quickly. He is more than happy to remind you of that.

But every fleck of gold, rare gemstone, new tool, patch of land, and improvement to your home pushes you a little farther from the life he expected for you—and a little closer to proving him wrong.

Start with a pan and a muddy riverbank. Find your fortune, build a home, raise a family, and see just how much the river has left to give.
