FLAKRIG is a 2D retro sci-fi extraction tower defense game about overwhelming firepower, impossible odds, and knowing when to cut your losses. Establish an off-world mining operation, construct devastating defenses, and hold back tens of thousands of alien insects while your drill extracts valuable resources. Stay too long, and you might lose everything.

Face enormous, dynamically moving swarms of flying alien insects across hostile extraterrestrial landscapes. Watch thousands of enemies surge through terrain, overwhelm defensive positions, and disappear beneath a storm of bullets, flak, fire, and energy weapons.

Every kill buys you time. Every second buys you resources. But the swarm never stops coming.

BUILD YOUR DEFENSIVE LINE

Deploy 13 specialized defensive turrets, from rapid-fire miniguns and heavy flak batteries to flamethrowers, missile systems, and devastating energy weapons. Each tower serves a different purpose, with individual technology trees and upgrades that change how your defenses perform.

Configure targeting priorities, prioritize specific enemy classes, and build overlapping fields of fire to counter increasingly dangerous swarms.

When your defenses begin to fail, call upon 7 tactical ordnance strikes to turn the tide.
