About This Game
What you are buying
HotZone is a finished single-player first-person shooter you play on your own machine. One purchase includes the whole drill set: three maps, four lesson types, five enemy roles, pistol / rifle / SMG, and a ten-wave run on each map. There is no extra DLC required to finish the game. There is no multiplayer, no shop, and no online account.
A run
You pick a map and a lesson, spawn at the start pad, and fight ten waves. Between waves you can reload and grab ammo from the green pad. If you die, that run ends and you start the ten waves again. There is no campaign map, no skill points, and no buy phase. The loop is short and repeatable: learn the lanes, keep your head, finish the tenth wave.

Waves get harder as they go. Early waves teach you the three basic roles. From wave 3, shield enemies hold the front. From wave 4, snipers take long lanes. Later waves mix more of them in the same space.
How it plays
You move with WASD, look with the mouse, sprint, crouch, hip-fire, and aim down sights. Peek corners. Break the crate or board that is blocking a lane. Take a headshot — it kills in one hit. A shield has to be broken from the side or you waste the magazine on the plate.

You see your own gun. Muzzle flash lights the shot. Holes stay in walls and in cover you destroyed. Spread changes when you stand, crouch, sprint, or ADS. The three guns are not reskins: pistol for close control, rifle for the long lane, SMG when several bodies close the gap. You get one flashbang per wave.
Three maps
The rooms are grey boxes on purpose. The gun lines are the content.

Three-Lane Alley — three parallel lanes. Enemies hold one lane or cross the gaps. You peek, clear, and watch the other two.

Warehouse Yard — an office you can hold, pallet stacks you can rotate around, and a long right side for rifles and snipers.

Cross Street — you spawn south. The plaza is the fight. Shop doorways open left and right. The north street is a long rifle / sniper lane.

Five enemies. Color is the job

Orange assault — walks up and pressures you

Blue gunner — holds a lane and taps

Green flanker — leaves the front and comes around

Purple shield — from wave 3, blocks the lane until you break the side

Yellow sniper — from wave 4, stands off and punishes anyone who stays in the open

Four lessons

Standard — clear, flank, headhunt, and hold in one run

Headhunt — only headshots count

Flank — pressure comes from the sides

Hold — stay alive until the timer ends

Settings
Chinese and English. Remap keys. Change the crosshair. Fullscreen or window. This is a Windows 64-bit game.
What this is not
