XETODUS is an indie free-to-play, persistent multiplayer space sandbox. Every pilot starts with one ship and a whole universe of choices. Mine a fortune, build an industrial empire, hunt the most wanted pirates in the cluster, or land on an alien world and raise a colony. Everything you earn stays yours, in one shared online universe that keeps living while you are away.

Fly it your way

• Many ships from nimble fighters to colossal capital ships, each with its own role and silhouette.

• Deep fittings: weapons, shields, armor, mining lasers and dozens of module types, with a live bonus summary so every choice counts.

• Seamless flight from deep space through the atmosphere and down to the surface of planets you can actually land on.

• Squads and wings: fly with friends, hire NPC escorts and warp together as one fleet.

Build an empire

• Mining, refining and manufacturing with tuned lasers for every ore, automated mining runs and full production chains.

• Player-driven markets plus NPC trade posts across hundreds of systems, contracts, couriers and a Credit Ingot worth a billion credits.

• Colonies: claim land on a planet, grow a settlement and stock it from your station hangars.

• Flotillas: send crews out to mine and haul for you while you are offline.

• Retainers: hire mercenary fliers to fight with you or protect you while on a mining run.

Hunt, fight and explore

• Hunting: take contracts from Bounty Masters, track down quarry and loot rare materials for powerful gear.

• Combat everywhere: pirates, world bosses, Rifts and strongholds, solo or with a squad.

• Voiced quest lines in multiple languages, with stories that unlock new travel lanes, methods and places.

Stronger together

Found or join a clan, pool resources in a shared treasury and clan vaults, wage wars and claim your place on the leaderboards. Every activity trains its own skill, so whatever you love doing becomes your path to mastery.

Free to play. Vanguard if you want more.

The whole core game is free and stays complete. The optional Vanguard Charter membership adds more on top: extra pilot slots, more active missions and market orders, members' skills, hulls and quests with a members' gear tier, exclusive Vanguard liveries, a monthly Aether stipend, a Vanguard badge and cloud-saved layouts. Vanguard Permits, which add Charter time, can be traded between pilots in game.

Online play

XETODUS requires an internet connection and access to its online game service. Pilot progress is stored on the server rather than in local save files. Gameplay includes communication and interaction with other players. Make your living among the stars!
