Candid: Good Dog is a single-player casual pet game about spending time together and taking photographs. Choose a photo of your dog and watch that familiar face settle into a cozy paper world. Your companion is made from the actual photograph, keeping the markings, expression and pose you know.

Play a little. Wait for a moment worth keeping.

Pet your dog, fill the food bowl, throw a ball, or simply watch them wander and rest. Complete photo tasks to explore beyond the room: chase a frisbee in the park, meet a butterfly, or pounce into a pile of forest leaves. Change the weather and discover little reactions to sunshine, rain and snow.

Make an album of ordinary, lovely days

Pick up the camera to complete photo tasks, take your own snapshots and find special moments hidden in everyday play. Each dog has a personal album for task photos, free snapshots and adventure keepsakes. View your favorite pictures and export them to keep outside the game.

A companion, even when you are offline

Photo processing happens locally on your computer. Play without an internet connection or a separate cutout tool.

Generative AI was used during development to create some illustrations, visual assets, and built-in example dog images. These assets are included with the game. Your own pet photos are processed locally on your computer to create animated paper cutouts; they are never uploaded to online AI services or redrawn using generative AI.
