About This Game

-> Ride. Aim. Blast.

RailBlaster puts you on a winding rail ride with a blaster in your hands (one in each hand in VR). The track twists, climbs and drops while targets and props fill the sky, and every hit counts. Chain hits to build your combo up to x5, charge a burst for the busy moments, and turn each run into a chase for a better grade.

-> A story told ride by ride

Every morning, the power comes on, and every morning the targets appear. Before each level, a short story plays on black and carries you from a dead city into the Abyss, down to a burning pit, and up into orbit. Two acts end with two bosses: THE PYRE waits at the bottom of Act 1, and something far larger waits above the world.

-> Enemies that don't play fair

Ghosts turn white and untouchable, so you have to time your shots. Blinkers jump away every time you hit them. Walls rise across the track: shoot them down or lose points ramming through. Later, walls flicker like ghosts and run ahead of you along the rails. Short lessons before each new level show you what's coming.

-> Slow the world. Keep blasting.

In single player, hold slo-mo to slow the ride and the world around you while your aim, firing rate and shots keep their normal pace. Your meter recharges as you ride: use it in short bursts or save it for a busy stretch. The music slows with the action.

-> Worlds that move to the music

A rain-soaked neon megacity. An abandoned neon carnival. Lava, ice, candy, deep water, a wireframe grid and open space. Every world lights up, pulses and rumbles with its own soundtrack, re-orchestrated by the game for each theme. Beat the campaign to open the Lost Worlds, four huge side tracks, and a mirror mode that flips every level into a new world.

-> Unlock your arsenal

Earn six weapons, from the Spread and Repeater to the Lance and Seeker, plus trails and cosmetics, by grading well across the campaign.

-> Up to 8 players on one PC

Share one ride in local split-screen, or switch to RACE mode: everyone rides their own craft, hits steal targets from your rivals and give you a speed surge. Keyboards, mice and gamepads all join in, and the game can span several monitors.

-> Play on a monitor or in VR

Play the desktop version without a headset, or use the PCVR version to look around the ride and aim with tracked controllers. VR is optional.
