About This Demo

WELCOME TO JUNK RUSH DEMO

Junk Rush Demo is a chaotic hotdog experience where your job is surprisingly simple:

Serve 25 customers and somehow make it to the end of your shift!

Build your hotdogs, choose between different sauces and ingredients, put everything together, and try to keep your customers happy while the kitchen slowly turns into a complete mess.

The demo focuses on the core experience of making hotdogs. You’ll prepare each order by hand, deal with unexpected events happening around the kitchen, get things dirty, and occasionally find yourself shooting at things you probably shouldn't be shooting at.

The demo itself isn't large. In fact, it's intentionally small. But somehow, it still contains about as much content as some of the latest AAA releases.

We're a team of just 4 people, and this demo is only a small glimpse of what we're building!

But this isn't a demo we're going to leave behind. Junk Rush Demo will continue to receive updates throughout development, gradually adding new content, improvements, experiments and whatever other ridiculous ideas we decide to throw into the game.

Think of the demo as a small, playable window into the development of Junk Rush.

We don’t particularly like using AI.

Unfortunately, we are a small indie studio made of programmers and designers who are currently somewhere between “making a game” and “having existential crises”.

So, for now, we use AI to help us with some parts of our daily work and to bring some of our music, ideas, and inspirations to life.

But don’t worry, we haven’t handed over the steering wheel to the robots just yet.

Our project, its identity, and its originality are still created and directed by us. AI is simply one of the tools helping us survive the development process while our budget is busy pretending it doesn’t exist.

As soon as we have the resources to replace AI with our own human made work, we absolutely intend to do so.

Until then, we’re just a bunch of indie developers trying to make something cool before our refrigerators become purely decorative objects.
