Systems

Save Decay (Important)

If your party is wiped out again and again on the same save, the save data itself will vanish.

You save by writing in your diary. And to write in it, you need a Pen.

Combat

In addition to the fire, ice, lightning, wind, and blood elements, races and classes have their own matchups too.

Auto mode and fast-forward are also supported.

Weather

Rain: Lightning deals boosted damage to wet units. Hit them with ice and they freeze.

Strong Wind: Every few turns, a gust sends units flying.

Blizzard: Rivers and ponds freeze over, and ice attacks are boosted. Movement is reduced, too.

Heatwave: Units that don't cool off within 5 turns have their HP halved.

Lightning Strikes & Earthquakes: Evacuate immediately.

Terrain Effects

Set grass or fallen trees on fire and the flames will spread.

You can slide across frozen rivers and ponds.

Dropping enemies into a pitfall is always an option.

You can also spill oil and coat the ground in it. No open flames.

Special Items

Nice Barrel: Very nice. You might be able to hide inside.

Grappling Hook: Move in a straight line toward a wall or cliff.

Rest by the Campfire

Every journey needs a rest. Gather around the campfire with your companions and look back on the road so far.

Besides saving, chatting with your companions at the campfire gives you hints on where to go and how to win.
