Miksi Early Access?

Moonbound is an online game, and online games get better with players. Early Access lets us tune combat, balance and progression with real feedback, prove the servers under real load, and let the community help decide which zones, classes and features we build next.

We expect Moonbound to be in Early Access for roughly 6 to 12 months, depending on how quickly content comes together and on what players tell us.

The full version will add more zones to explore, more enemies and bosses, more classes, more weapons and armour, and more ways to play together. Plans may change based on community feedback.

Playable online today: an opening story on the caravan's last night, the town of Primrose and the Tavarin Meadows beyond it, and the Hollow, a procedurally generated dungeon you can queue for with a group. Start as a Novice and take one of four classes (Warrior, Magician, Archer or Rogue), each with its own combo, dodge and around fourteen skills to rank up toward the level cap of 50. Fight with combos, aimed attacks and spells; open loot chests for four tiers of armour; and dress your hero in the wardrobe's cosmetic looks. Follow quests, swim, ride the pig, emote with friends, join a guild, chat, and send mail with gold and items. Characters are saved to the cloud with Steam login. Expect rough edges, balance changes and bugs while we build.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

Yes. Moonbound will be free to play at full release. During Early Access it is a paid game, and the purchase includes a bundle of in-game store credits, so Early Access supporters are rewarded when the game goes free.

We read the Steam discussions and our community channels and use that feedback to decide what comes next. We will post regular development updates and patch notes, and share our roadmap as it evolves.
