About This Game

Harvest food for NOM

In THE NOM MUST BE FED, you control a ship on a planet inhabited by fruit creatures. Your job is to collect enough pulp to feed NOM and keep progressing.

How to play


Move your mouse to aim while the ship fires. Break the creatures and collect their remains to fill your pulp tubes. At the end of each round, you can review what you collected.

Choose how to spend your pulp


Use pulp to feed NOM or buy upgrades. Change cannons, combine fire, ice, electricity and void effects, and rescue your crewmates.

Explore the planet


You will encounter different weather, creatures and bioluminescent nights. The almanac keeps track of your discoveries. Your first game includes a guided tutorial, which you can reopen from the pause menu.

Generative AI tools were used during development for portions of the 2D artwork, 3D assets, music and sound effects, written content and translations, and to assist with programming. These assets were prepared before distribution and selected and integrated under NeonVacaCola’s creative direction. The game does not generate AI content or code during play and does not connect to external generative AI services during gameplay.
